Giants coach John Harbaugh rejects comparison to Joe Biden's voice

New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh has dismissed social media comparisons likening his voice to that of former U.S. President Joe Biden.[1]

The comparison surfaced after Harbaugh's introductory press conference on January 20, 2026, at Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.[1]

Harbaugh addressed the matter on Barstool Sports' "Pardon My Take" podcast, stating, "I'm not happy with that at all."[1] He attributed any perceived similarity to a sore throat, adding, "Joe Biden, really? I mean, come on."

Podcast host Dan Katz, known as "Big Cat," suggested the resemblance was noticeable, prompting Harbaugh to humorously discuss his liking for ice cream—a nod to Biden—before rejecting the comparison outright: "I’m putting that in dispute right now. I will not accept that."[1]

Harbaugh, born December 23, 1962, served as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens from 2008 until joining the Giants, winning Super Bowl XLVII after the 2012 season.[2][3]

The Giants qualified for the playoffs in 2022 with a 9-7-1 record, their most recent appearance, but finished 6-11 in 2023.[4]
