Bordeaux praises MLW women's division expansion
Scarlett Bordeaux highlighted the growth of Major League Wrestling's women's division in an interview with Fox News Digital. The division has added top stars over the past year, with Japan's Shoko Nakajima holding the women's world featherweight championship. Bordeaux, in her second run with MLW, called the roster "very, very talented."
Bordeaux named several contenders including Shotzi Blackheart, Priscilla Kelly and the newly signed Lady Frost. Lady Frost, a Pennsylvania native with experience in WWE, All Elite Wrestling, Ring of Honor, National Wrestling Alliance and Mexico's Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, joined MLW after her AEW contract expired earlier this month. Bordeaux described Frost as an "incredible gymnast, incredible athlete" and expressed enthusiasm for a potential match.
Bordeaux returned to MLW five months ago alongside her husband, wrestler Killer Kross. She praised the friendships in the locker room with wrestlers such as Priscilla Kelly, Shotzi Blackheart and Isla Dawn, whom she called "my best friends" and "my girls." Bordeaux noted she has won matches and feels more focused than ever.
MLW allows Bordeaux to manage and wrestle without being limited to one role. The promotion hosts CMLL Fantastica Mania USA and tapes an episode of MLW Fusion in Charleston, South Carolina, on Sunday, where Bordeaux is scheduled to wrestle an undisclosed opponent. New signee Trevor Lee also appears on the card.
