Sam Darnold will not play in the Seattle Seahawks' Week 2 road game against the Arizona Cardinals. Head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed the decision Wednesday, citing the glute injury Darnold sustained during Seattle's Week 1 win over the New England Patriots.
Darnold was hurt on the Seahawks' opening possession of the season and left the game for Drew Lock, who will now make the start against Arizona.
