Jackson Sidelined Again, Huntley Starts Vs. Browns
Lamar Jackson will sit out a second consecutive game because of an ankle injury, ruling him out for Sunday's road matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Ravens coach Jesse Minter confirmed the decision Friday, setting up another start for backup Tyler Huntley. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET on FOX.
Jackson was injured taking a sack late in the first half of Baltimore's Week 4 win over the Tennessee Titans, a game the Ravens managed to close out despite the setback. With Jackson out last week, Huntley guided Baltimore to an overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons, improving the team's record to 4-1. bet on bkfc
Huntley has a strong track record filling in for Jackson. He won both of his starts for Baltimore last season. The Ravens went 2-2 in the four games Jackson missed a year ago, with Cooper Rush taking the first two starts and losing both before the club turned back to Huntley, who returned for another stint and won out.
Baltimore will lean on Huntley again as it looks to keep its early-season momentum going against Cleveland. Jackson's recovery timeline beyond this week has not been specified by the team.
