Unbeaten Nebraska Hosts No. 7 Wisconsin in Big Ten Showdown
Top-ranked Nebraska faces No. 7 Wisconsin on Saturday night at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, a matchup between two unbeaten conference contenders. The Cornhuskers enter at 16-0 overall and 5-0 in Big Ten play, while the Badgers are 11-4 overall but also unblemished in league matches at 5-0.
Both teams arrive off dominant road performances. Nebraska swept No. 15 Indiana 3-0 (25-15, 25-19, 25-19) in Bloomington on Oct. 8, while Wisconsin swept No. 24 Illinois 3-0 the same night, extending its winning streak to seven matches. The two programs met once last season, with Nebraska winning in straight sets - 25-22, 25-19, 25-13 - at the Wisconsin Field House in Madison on Oct. 31, 2025. That result marked the Huskers' fourth consecutive sweep of the Badgers, the first time either side had strung together four straight sweeps in the series' 39-match history.
Nebraska's remaining schedule includes appearances on FOX, FS1 and BTN, along with matches carried on B1G+ and other outlets outside FOX's network family. The Big Ten Volleyball Tournament is set for Nov. 20-25 at Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana, with FOX slated to broadcast the championship match on Nov. 25 at 8 p.m. ET should Nebraska reach the final.
